Questions, answered.

Is the compliance map really free?

Yes — seeing what applies to your business is free. Complisto Pro (paid tier with automated renewals + rule-change alerts) is coming soon; join the waitlist above.

How do you know which rules apply to my business?

Your address and what you do tell us where to look. Federal requirements plus Texas, California, New York, Florida, and Illinois are hand-verified today for food service, contractors, and personal services. Other states show federal rules only — we mark local layers as gaps rather than invent coverage.

Will you ask for my EIN or SSN?

Not during screening. Sensitive identifiers are only requested when a specific filing needs them — and we tell you which form and why.

Is this legal advice?

No. Complisto is a screening tool, not a lawyer. Every finding cites its government source so you can verify it.
